Pentaerythritol ester of modified gum rosin are made from gum rosin, light-colored gum rosin or stabilized rosin through adding resin additive and and esterification with pentaerythritol resin additive; have the character of light color, high softening point, superior heat stability and weather resistance, especially suitabble for hot melt adhesives. Soluble in ester, aromatic, keto solvents, turpentine oil, partially soluble in petroleum products; mix well with vegetable oils; light color; resistant to yellowing; heat resistant; good adhesion power.
